Bio
Dheer Singh is an Assistant Professor of Operation Theatre Technology at Guru Nanak Paramedical College in Dhahan Kaleran, Punjab.
He holds a special interest in advanced anaesthesia and specialized surgery. He enjoys teaching because it allows for student growth while opening opportunities for employment.
In 2021, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Operation Theatre Technology (BSc OTT) at Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Paramedical Sciences (SRMSIPS) in Bhoji Pura, Uttar Pradesh. His bachelor’s degree was conferred by Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. After graduating, he worked as a tutor at the college until 2024.
While working as a tutor, he went on to complete his Master Of Science in Operation Theatre Technology (MSc OTT), also at SRMSIPS in 2024. His Master’s degree was conferred by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
From 2022 to 2024, he held a supervisory role in the paediatric operation theatre at Shri Ram Murti Smark Hospital, in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. In this role, he gained experience managing patient safety, documenting procedures and organizing staff schedules.
