Our goal
Guru Nanak Paramedical College operates with a goal to provide young people with access to employable, practical education in the field of health care.

The institution works to produce skilled, meticulous and work-ready paramedical graduates who can form the backbone of health care systems in national and international contexts.
From a humble starting point in the classroom, students are equipped to enter the workforce through training that eventually includes ‘real life’ vocational practice in laboratories, hospitals and field sites.

Our mission and vision
Our mission
To equip young adults with up-to-date and practical learning through which they can find quality employment.
To prepare paramedical workers, scholars, and educators to meet the needs of healthcare systems in Punjab, India and around the world.
To be a leader in the academic field of modern, paramedical science.
Our vision
Guru Nanak Paramedical College will be a centre for educational and workforce preparedness that meets the need of healthcare systems to improve societal wellbeing, while creating a network of self-standing, knowledgeable and collaborative medical personnel.
Our history
Operating under the umbrella organization of Guru Nanak Mission Medical and Educational Trust, the institute evolved out of the primary aspirations of the late Mr. Budh Singh Dhahan – the desire to build a hospital, educate children and train medical personnel in Punjab.

Following the opening of a nursing college in 1993, Guru Nanak Paramedical College opened 29 years later, in 2022. It did so under the direction of the late Dr. Shivinder Singh Gill, Director of Health Services at Guru Nanak Mission Hospital and former Vice Chancellor at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences.
The college started with three, government-recognized baccalaureate programs: Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) and Radiology & Imaging Technology (RIT).

The college plans to expand its programs with the goal of graduating 250 trained personnel per year.
