Bio

Piyush Yadav is an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Imaging Technology at Guru Nanak Paramedical College in Dhahan Kaleran.

Prior to her current position, she worked as an Assistant Professor at Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, in Khiala, Jalandhar between December 2022 and December 2023. There, she taught magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computer tomography, nuclear medicine, anatomy and physiology, cross sectional anatomy, hospital practice and patient care.

She also worked as an academic coordinator at Career Transformation (CT University) from July, 2021 to December, 2022. During this time, she was a Member Secretary for the Board of Studies. In this role, she coordinated to ensure course curricula was on-par with the latest industry standards.

Piyush Yadav graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, in 2019.  She completed her Master’s in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology from Teerthanker Mahaveer University in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, in 2021.

She is currently pursuing her PhD in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology at Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University (SGT University), in Gurugram, Haryana.

Her career development activities have included:

  • Attending a one-month Curriculum Development Resource Centre (CDRC) workshop on curriculum development at Career Transformation (CT University), from July 10, 2021 to August 10, 2021.
  • Earning a certificate for attending a 7-day, online course on Anatomy and Physiology, hosted by General Electric, in August 2019.
  • Earning a certificate for attending a 7-day online course on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), hosted by General Electric, in August, 2019.
  • Giving a presentation on MRI at a National Continuing Medical Education (CME) conference titled, ‘Radiofest,’ hosted by the Indian Society of Radiographers and Technologists at Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Science in 2015, 2017 and 2018. She was a participant in 2019.
  • Giving a presentation on interventional radiology at the 5th National Conference of the Indian Society of Radiographers and Technologists, at King George’s Medical University, in October, 2018.
