Bio

Rajdeep Thidwar began serving as the Vice Principal of Guru Nanak Paramedical College in Dhahan Kaleran, in January, 2024. He teaches imaging modalities, radiation safety and protection, as well as other topics.

Prior to his current position, Rajdeep worked at Sant Baba Bhag Singh University (SBBSU), in Jalandhar, as Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Radiology, from September, 2021 to December, 2023.

He was also an Assistant Professor and Principal of Healthcare & Paramedical Sciences at Career Transformation University, in Ludhiana, from March, 2020 to September, 2021.

Between March, 2019 and March, 2020, he worked as an Assistant Professor and Department Head at Guru Kashi University, in Bathinda. He worked at Ansal University, in Gurugram, Haryana, from September, 2018 to March, 2019, as an Assistant Professor and Campus Director. He was a Lecturer and Assistant Professor at Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University in Gurgaon, Haryana, from September 2013 to September 2018.

Rajdeep Thidwar completed his Bachelor of Science in Medical Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging at Santosh Medical College in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, in 2008. He earned his Master of Science in Radiology and Imaging Technology at Himalayan University, in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh in 2017. In December, 2022, he began pursuing his PhD in Radiology and Imaging Technology at Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary (SGT) University.

His career development activities have included:

  • Attending the 9th International Conference On Academic Research and Innovation at Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, in Jalandhar, for three days, in October, 2022.
  • Serving as the Organizing Secretary for the National Science Day Seminar on Effects of Radiation and Its Consequences in Current Scenarios, held at Sant Baba Bhag Singh University (SBBSU), in Jalandhar, on February 29, 2022.
  • Attending a one-day workshop on Outcome Based Education, at Sant Baba Bhag Singh University (SBBSU), in Jalandhar, in October, 2021.
  • Attending the TechAspire one-day scientific meet at Medanta Medicity, in Gurgaon, Haryana, in July, 2018.
  • Attending a 1-day, continuing medical education (CME) course on Safety Spectrum & Application in Radiology in Modern Medical Practice, held by Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University in Gurgaon, Haryana, on April 13, 2018.
  • Attending a 1-day workshop on Safety Spectrum & Application in Radiology in Modern Medical Practice, held by Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University in Gurgaon, Haryana, on September, 2017.
  • Attending an international symposium on the Physical, Biological and Clinical Aspects of Hypofractionated Radiotherapy, hosted by the Department of Radiological Physics at Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Medical College, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on April 2, 2017.
  • Attending a Clinico Radiology Meet, hosted by ClearMedi Healthcare, in Gurgaon, Haryana on February 19, 2017.
  • Attending a faculty development program workshop on Pedagogic and Personal Effectiveness at Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, in Gurgaon, Haryana, from January 10 to 12, 2017.
  • Attending the 2nd Asia Pacific Conference of Radiological Technologists, hosted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), in New Delhi, from November 30 to Dec 2, 2007.
  • Receiving an Education Excellence Award in the category of ‘Early Career Researcher of the Year,’ by Kiteskraft Productions, in 2003.
